BaywayLabs is committed to making Tandem — this website and the app — usable by as many people as possible, regardless of disability or assistive technology. Accessibility is an ongoing effort for us, not a box to tick.

Conformance status

This website is designed to be substantially conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA — the benchmark referenced by European accessibility law. "Substantially conformant" means the large majority of criteria are met, though isolated exceptions may remain, which we are working to remove.

What we've done

• Colour contrast meeting level AA for text and components
• Alternative text for informative images
• Semantic structure with landmarks and a logical heading order
• Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator and a "skip to content" link
• In-text links that are distinguishable without relying on colour alone
• Respect for the system "reduce motion" preference
• Resizable text and unblocked page zoom

Known limitations

We are not currently aware of any significant barriers on this website. The detailed legal pages (privacy, terms) are for now available in Italian only. If you come across content you can't use, please tell us and we'll address it as soon as we can.

Assessment method

Conformance was verified through self-assessment against the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines: code review, contrast calculation and keyboard-navigation testing. We'll update this statement as we improve the product.
